In 1995, Mr. Hajar wasn't a CEO, he was a lone figure pushing a humble cart through the streets of Zakho. His chariot? Not a gleaming automobile, but a symbol of unwavering hustle – a handcart laden with fava beans. Each sealed bag wasn't just a sale, it was a brick laid in the foundation of something far greater.
Those dusty streets became our training ground. We learned the language of the market, the rhythm of trade, the silent trust forged between vendor and customer. From a single cart, we grew to a rented storefront, then a trusted supplier, and finally, in 2001, Hajar Group was born.
The early days were a constant hustle. We built our reputation with every handshake deal, every satisfied customer. Slowly, the trust we'd cultivated allowed us to dream bigger. We secured our first major contract, supplying the Iraqi Ministry of Trade. It was a turning point, a validation of the relentless spirit that had driven us this far.
But Hajar Group isn't a company that rests on its laurels. We chased new horizons, venturing into petroleum products, construction, and international trade. We established offices in Istanbul, Dubai, Austria, and India, our reach extending beyond borders. We built a fleet of trucks, a fish farm, a bitumen plant – each venture a testament to our insatiable drive.
Today, Hajar Group isn't just a company, it's a family. A family built on Mr. Hajar's vision, on the unwavering spirit of our team, and on the unwavering trust of our clients. We offer security services, facilitate visa applications, and even recycle copper – a testament to our diverse expertise.

As a family business with a history of more than 28 years Hajar Group emerged as a small trading office to a Group of Companies comprised of 16 entities operating in a variety of business fields.
We provide services in construction and contracting, petroleum industry, information technology, public transportation, freight transport, general trading, food production, industrial manufacturing, environmental protection and a range of other fields.
