In collaboration with our strategic partners, YDA Iraq, Hajar Group is spearheading a groundbreaking project in the bustling city of Baghdad – the Shaljiah and Tobji Intersection Bridges. This ambitious venture, executed for the Ministry of Housing and Construction, stands as a testament to our unwavering commitment to addressing urban challenges and improving the quality of life for residents.
Project Overview:
This multifaceted project is a pivotal component of a broader initiative aimed at alleviating chronic traffic congestion in the heart of Baghdad, a dense city of 9 million inhabitants. Focused on the rehabilitation and development of the Al-Shaljiya-Al-Tobji intersection, our approach involves the removal of two existing intersections, making room for the construction of the four-side Al-Tobji bridge.
By adopting a holistic perspective, we aim to not only enhance traffic flow but also contribute to the overall improvement of transportation infrastructure in Baghdad. This project is the first of its kind, strategically designed to mitigate the long-standing issue of traffic congestion at the Al-Shaljiya-Al-Tobji intersection.
