The Airport was completed in a record time of 11 months Built from scratch; it is the first Greenfield airport not only in Kazakhstan but also in the region, built after the Soviet period. Annual Passenger Capacity is 3 Million.
This project covers an area of 905 hectares, with a 3300 m long runway, 2 taxiways, 1 service area, an apron large enough to fit 7 wide-body aircraft in parking position, an airport terminal of 10,500 m2 and an additional building of 12,800 m2.
